Win with Elleyhill Power

1. All persons entering the Elleyhill Power digital competition agree that the competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on them.

2. In order to be eligible to enter this competition:
2.1. the entrant must permanently reside in the Republic of South Africa
2.2. the entrant must be a legal resident of said country and be in possession of a valid  identification document;
2.3. the entrant must be 18 years or older;
2.4. the entrant cannot be a juristic person and must be an individual person;

3. The competition is not open to any person who is a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to any of the organisers or Elleyhill Power or any other person who directly or indirectly controls, or is controlled by, any of the organisers, including their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners and associates, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition.

4. All participants who meet the eligibility requirements set out above will be automatically entered into the competition if they have entered correctly.

5. The competition commences on 14 August 2024 and runs until 30 August 2024.

6. Participants can enter by following and completing all steps below to qualify:

   ● Share the competition post on their own social media profile, timeline and story
   ● The participant must tag the ElleyHill Power Facebook and Instagram pages to qualify
   ● Tag 5 friends in the comments of the competition post

7. The draw will take place within 2 weeks following the commencement of the competition. The winner will be contacted and announced via social media.

8. The best entries as judged by our internal panel will be drawn by selection from all eligible entries from the official Elleyhill Power Facebook page
(https://www.facebook.com/ElleyhillPower) and Instagram page
(https://www.instagram.com/elleyhillpower). Elleyhill Power reserves the right to use / not use an auditor to verify the picked entry as compliant as set out by the terms and conditions of this competition.

9. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence in this regard will be entered.

10. The final prize is: 1 Greenrich 8kW Hybrid Inverter or 1 Greenrich UP5000 1.5C Battery to the value of ZAR 27,800.00 only

11. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or for any other item.

12. The winner will be required to provide Elleyhill Power with proof of identification in the form of a copy of his/her identity document, passport or driver’s licence.

13. Notification and delivery of prizes:
13.1 Prize winner will be informed telephonically, and that his/her name has beendrawn, that he/she has won the prize.
13.2 The prize must be claimed from the Elleyhill Power Johannesburg or Cape Town warehouse 2 weeks after receiving official communication that they have won.
13.3 The prizes are items that are in Elleyhill Power stores and/or website.
13.4 The prize winner must arrange their own collection / delivery of the goods selected or an alternative arrangement is made directly with Elleyhill Power and is communicated adequately. Any costs incurred to collect / deliver the prize is solely for the prize winner.

14. Elleyhill Power reserves the right to select the winner/s as they deem fit and reserves the right to change / cancel the competition entry mechanism and prize at any moment without prior notice. Any updates will be published on Elleyhill Power’s Social Media channels and/or website terms and conditions.

15. Elleyhill Power reserves the right to disqualify a winner if he/she does not respond to the telephone call, e-mail or notification by registered mail within 3 working days of being contacted or the notification being dispatched, indicating that he/she accepts the prize. In such an event, Elleyhill Power will be entitled to select another winner within 1 working day thereafter.

16. The winner’s name will be published on the official Elleyhill Power website (www.elleyhillpower.co.za) and on the official Elleyhill Power Facebook and Instagram
pages. By entering this competition, the winner agrees to this.

17. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE COMPETITION, YOU AGREE, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAW THAT NEITHER ELLEYHILL POWER NOR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE PARTNER, DIGITAL AND ADVERTISING AGENCIES WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES, DAMAGES, COSTS OR CLAIMS IN CONNECTION WITH THE COMPETITION OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, OR USE OF ANY PRIZE.
